Features: The CSSS or the computer software security system monitors a given area via the web cam. Real-time monitoring and sending alarm snapshots when there is movement in the camera surveillance area. The amount of movement to detect an alarm situation can be set by sensitivity level. There is a simple interface to operate all the functions. In an alarm situation, you can set the system to call you. You can set it so that it sends emails, calls by phone, a mobile number, send you mail, call through Skype or just play an alarm such as siren. Any web cam camera and video capture card is supported.
Visual motion detection is supported by the camera. Remote listening is supported with voice modems which have a second mike. One can listen to what is happening in the surveillance area. This is enabled just after motion detection. The application will silently dial by model and cell phone. Remote listening from any telephone is possible. The system can also play siren/alarm. You can arrange to have different sounds. You can arrange to have the system call any number, long distance as well as international. Skype dialing also is supported now. The video snapshots can be recorded into the system disk. When enabled voice recording also can be stored into the local disk for up to 1 hour. Visual motion detector indicator is available.
Overall: Well organized interface and a program that meets a vital need. It is quite flexible in terms of what telephone system it`ll use to alert you.
